Anyone experiencing a similar issue on their Xbox? I am unable to grab stuff from barrels, make marks on maps, and I can't even load into a game through the menu with my mouse. Only does this on Sea of Thieves. Mouse works perfect on any other game just fine.
Double Clicking Mouse Bug (Series X)
Mouse and keyboard became unusable for a while after one of the big updates. I forget if it was when they pushed the GDK or EAC. It was like that for so long that when I moved my setup I didn’t even bother to plug them back into my Xbox as I wasn’t playing anything else that could use them. So I’m wondering if this is still that issue, or did they ever fix it and now it’s back.
I remember that update, that was the GDK update that caused all chaos with Console MnK. This double clicking issue has been an issue for a few months now. And I know it's not my mouse because I have 3 mice that work properly and I still have this issue with all of them. Something in the coding is guaranteed to be the issue. All my mice work just fine on COD, Minecraft, Ark Survival, etc..
I've noticed on controller extra inputs being added making specifically when grabbing from barrels annoying. I will end up grabbing an extra unintended item.
Not sure if this is what your experiencing but try changing your bind like to access, take and store items if you are left clicking.
Just my thought as I haven't used m+k for SoT as im assuming you use left click for all of these issues

@cainbong that's crazy because I experience the same issue as well on my Mouse too. When I go to grab something out of a barrel with the RMB (Secondary Mouse Button), the" grab 1" of whatever item, it gives me 2 instead of 1. So this is an issue on both Mouse Buttons. Many times, very many times, I can't grab anything with either Mouse Button out of barrels. I have to spam click both Mouse Buttons just to grab items out of barrels, but tonight, this wasn't even working for me. This typically works-ish, but not tonight. It's like my Mouse Clicks were nonexistent (ONLY in barrels and crates). I can shoot and aim just fine with my handheld weapons, it's just barrels and crates. Do appreciate to hear someone has a similar issue as myself, but the fact your issue is on a controller is crazy!
Has anyone found a fix for this? I stopped playing earlier this year when these problems first arose. Tried to jump back in a few days ago thinking "surely it'll be fixed by now." Boy was I wrong. I submitted a ticket but they closed out my submission stating it as resolved even though they told me it was going to take a while. Literally makes the game unplayable. I refuse to switch to controller as I've only ever played on MnK.
