Why Didn't I Get the Admiral Knife?

    Ok, so yesterday I had killed an Ashen Lord with a throwing knife, though I did weaken it to final phase with cannons to speed up the process, and I went to an outpost and I couldn't buy the Admiral Knife. Can someone explain? Do I have to kill a skeleton lord with only a throwing knife?

    It's the double pistol for the Ashen Lord and knife for the Skelly Lord. I think you can attack with other weapons but the pistol/knife has to be the killing blow.

    edit: oh with a 'ranged' attack, that's probably why I didn't get it.

    Well it's weird cuz according to the wiki it says that Ashen Lord do count as skeleton lords. Also I did kill the Ashen Lord with a throw.

    You have to kill a Skeleton Lord with a thrown knife for the Admiral Knife skin. Ashen Lord is for the Double Barrel Pistol.

    I made the same mistake.

    But according to the Wiki Ashen Lords are skeleton lords. Oh well, I'll get it when I play next.
