Please add visibility for Black Dog Pack on ps5

@patrikpirate as is the PS5 exclusive cosmetics not available on Xbox/PC etc, they won’t be making the others available on PS5. What does it really matter anyway? There are hundreds of cosmetics available, pick something else.

@tesiccl Are you serious ? (I think no) - this is not about that I have no good looking cosmetic.
This is very unfair logic - like in the other cross platform games skins should be bonded to account and visible on all platforms.

@patrikpirate why wouldn’t I be serious? Sony and Microsoft have decided that one set isn’t available on either platform, if they aren’t going to change it, then nothing we can do but use our other cosmetics instead. Pixels on a screen at the end of the day, nothing more or less.

@tesiccl I really try to understand your point ,but for me this is unfair. If we go „your way” than we can conclude that the most of things in life have no sense.

This is just fun to play SOT at the evening and chill ,but brother as I said - this is unfair ,that you lose skin/skins that you grind for/invested money in - in all other games where skins exist ,skins are bound to account and accessible everywhere.

The next fact is that game accounts have own market and people who buy skins want their value on account.(in. a Lot of games including SOT(smaller market bur exists))

This is just sad and unfair.
Like the same fact the SOT just recently put anti-cheat in Game ,1000 years after most of this type games.

Maybe they will be more fair in the future…

@captain-coel All preorder items should be exclusive but still bonded to ACCOUNT - what do you guys don’t understand? This is very simple: You are buying exclusive game - preorder version and getting exclusive items that should be bonded on your account. BUT STILL VISIBLE IN THAT SAME GAME.

Visibility Case with ps5 preorder skins are that same unfair like visibility case with black dog and ferryman.

If you think different go to other big game studios where cross-play exists like studios from diablo 4 or COD and tell them that XD

Really I appreciate your opinion guys - no offense ,but my opinion have stronger arguments based almost on all big multiplayer games.

@patrikpirate you do realize that the issue happened after it was announced. That the ps5 skins needed to be exclusive to that platform and it was changed. In response, Rare made other preorder items the same exclusive. Sure I want people to have access to everything they can from purchases and preorders etc. I have all of it tied to my account, but I can only use that is allowed via pc as its my prefered platform.

RARE should fix this because this is more unfair than putting anti-cheat now in season 12 XD

When I grinded pvp to 200+ on both curses more than 50% are cheating on pvp ,that was horrible to play and now they started to listen the players and put anti cheat.
I skipped season 11 in case of my anger to this game cause of cheaters.

I thought that they go to good way with this anti cheat and stop my anger to this game - and now boom! They locked exclusive skins on platforms XDDD

@captain-coel Idk ,but still this is unfair and stupid. If they put game on any platform they should think about all title players ,not divide them - this is still not to accept.

I mean, every mention of the PS5 on this website has the Trademark symbol (Xbox doesn’t) I’d assume that the people who made the decision to make these cosmetics platform exclusive were probably the PS5 team. Remember the time the PlayStation 3 almost never received Minecraft due to them not wanting to make people use Microsoft accounts? So yeah, I think it’s Sony doing this.

we have accepted many bad things, shortcomings and mistakes in this beautiful game apart from being unfair to those who made this game so great - PLAYERS

@RARE I am waiting to fix this. (I think not only me…)

This is short actions in game code for programmers and decision is simple ,go where logic thinking goes and listen to players more.

@tesiccl It's just silly is all. Not even about the fact there are other cosmetics available - If someone who preorded the game back in or before 2018, and they've had the Black Dog Pack all this time, there should be no reason they can't use it on PS5.

@Valor-Omega unless the big suits at PlayStation don’t want their players using exclusive cosmetics obtained from their rival corp. this reminds me of a few other times the PlayStation owners did this kind of thing.

I would bet anything that this completely out of Rare's hands and is between Microsoft and Sony.

Rare would probably love for things to be account based and not platform based (like it has been for years before Sony was brought into the fray). It doesn't benefit them one bit to have things the way they are. This is a directive from above.

This is UNFAIR and HARMFUL for a lot of players especially old players - you can write what you want.

I hate this as same as selling out seasonal cosmetics for doubloons (blue coins). - so I am not scared to write this.

Just show me other game where seasonal cosmetics are sold after season…

Complete out of logic and being unfair.

If players start write/talk more ,any studio can think about changes ,including rare. They should.

Big changes are starting from small changes and players voice.

@patrikpirate I mean I'm definitely not scared. I think it's a really poor decision by whoever made it. I'm just not naive enough to think that it was Rare making the decision or that Rare has any control over it.

Again, despite certain cosmetics being tied to very specific means of acquiring them, cosmetics being locked behind the platform in which you acquired them was never a thing until Sony got brought to the party.

Even further to that point, it wasn't announced that cosmetics would be platform locked until way after the SOT to PS5 announcement. My speculation, Sony realized that a bunch of the pre-orders and stuff were being done by already existing players just to get the cosmetics, and it was simultaneously making Microsoft look like geniuses for opening up an exclusive game, so they put the kibosh on it, and then Microsoft followed suit and locked theirs too.

@sweetsandman I was not writing about you . It doesn’t matter who idea was that ,for player-good they should fix some things.(Sony or Microsoft (cause Microsoft bought rare)) - I know playstion for years ,they want to earn money but not harming their players. I am pretty sure that this was idea of first day (not so good) new manager/head or other incompetent person. There are no logic here ,completely .

I am talking not only about black- dog but mainly about all of the skin nonsens ,including buying previous seasons skin ,making new skins by changing colors in old XDDD etc.

They should listen more and use logic thinking.

I love SOT and I don’t want to watch things like that ,they should fix and improve this things ,mainly skins - this is skin based multiplayer game ,guys please .

So, what is the truth? You should share it with us!

I genuinely struggle to understand your argument for why Rare is to blame for this. They are the only losing part in this situation out of the 3 (Sony, Microsoft and Rare).
Microsoft keeps their cosmetics exclusive to their consoles (in attempts to boost sales)
Sony gets their own cosmetics exclusive to their consoles (in attempts to boost sales)
Rare have a bunch of players unable to see/use certain cosmetics in-game. They still sell game copies but get a bunch of disappointed players that are unable to see/use certain cosmetics. They wouldn't purposedly do this to their own game for that exact reason.

I have the PS5 pre-order cosmetics myself, but I rarely/never play on the PS5 meaning I don't get to use the cosmetics I paid for. Do I want this console exclusivity gone? Absolutely!

This is a Sony vs Microsoft problem that started when the game launched on PS5. This was never an issue between Microsoft and Steam.

@kashmero Guy from support told me to write post here after going to support with this(I think that was a bug).

They will listen ,when people will be telling.

So bump this post guys.

It is time to try to make some changes.
