Bigger Inventory space and keeping all items on ship when logging out

  • They should increase the inventory for food, wood, and throwables.
They should add where we keep all cannonballs and food when we log out and not lose everything

  • They should increase the inventory for food, wood, and throwables.

This would just make it harder to kill anyone and sink ships, because they would have more food and wood.
    No.

They should add where we keep all cannonballs and food when we log out and not lose everything

No. Then people would hoard items.
The devs have said that everyone logging in logs in to the same level playing field.

Imagine getting bodied by someone who hoarded cannonballs and food over a week of playing, while you have just started playing for the first time.

  • My brother in little baby Jebas, you've surely got to be joking.

...side-stepping the idea of keeping resources across multiple sessions since that has always been a laughably bad idea and the game is designed specfically to avoid this...

The storage barrels on your ship max out at SIX pages of SIXTEEN slots each, each of which maxes out at 99 units.

That means each storage barrel holds in excess of 9,500(!!) individual items.

How bad does one need to be at a game to need 9,500+ planks of wood, 19,000+ cannonballs and 19,000+ pieces of food...(and that's just on a sloop)????

You would either become utterally unsinkable due to never running out of supplies, or you are somehow so terrrible at resource management and actually require that many items to stay alive that you should never play video games of any type ever again and should instead concentrate on holding very still in real life so as to avoid being hit by a meteor while being struck by lightning while being crushed under a vending machine while being eaten by a shark simultaneously.

  • Even if you just meant your pirate's personal inventory...really...?

Your pirate already has space in his/her pants for:

    • 10 cannonballs
    • 5 cursed cannonballs
    • 5 pieces of food
    • 5 planks of wood
    • 10 fireworks
    • 5 throwables
    • 5 chainshots
    • 5 scattershots
    • 10 bits of living, wriggling fishing bait
    • 2 weapons of varying sizes, including but not limited to a possible full-size (and quite pointy) sword, a wide-mouth shotgun or long-@$$ sniper rifle with scope
    • 4 musical instruments
    • a pocket watch
    • a compass
    • a spyglass
    • a speaking trumpet
    • a tankard full of grog (that never spills)
    • a lantern (that is currently on fire)
    • a bucket (that may or may not be full of water or vomit)
    • a full-length shovel
    • and a full-length fishing rod (which may or may not have a fish dangling from the end of it)

...and some of these people AREN'T EVEN WEARING PANTS TO BEGIN WITH.

Just how much do you demand from your pockets, my good sir?!

  • @goldengoku44228

LOL This would be INSANE to say the least. My crew and I would have something like 5 million cannonballs, so much meat/fish like you wouldn't believe, so much wood we could build multiple ships ourselves, it would be crazy. Imagine sinking in hourglass because you don't have enough supplies, while the sloop you're fighting has 2 pages of cannonballs still.

On top of this, with all the bugs, glitches, and crashes, now you're asking the servers to "remember" what each player had on their ships, and it would get even crazier. Yeah no lol.

  • They should increase the inventory for food, wood, and throwables.

    Reason?

They should add where we keep all cannonballs and food when we log out and not lose everything

As well remove purchasing anything from shops, so it more "anything you find in barrels stays" Sure.
