No friends available to Invite

    Hi,
    Is anyone else getting a "No friends available to Invite" message when they try to invite new players to their guild via the Invite Friends link in game?

    Tried using the emote in-game? usually how I do it

    @itz-majman how do you do it bro, just made a guild and trying to invite my friend but it just says “no invites available at this time”

    Open your emote-wheel and go to the last page, should be a guild emote there. Makes you pull out a paper and they can click on it and join. You need to be on your ship that is part of the guild to be able to use it

    It's not on the last page, there is a key or button that'll say "Guild emotes".

    You should be on a guild ship though.

    Still they should really look into fixing the menu invite system. I wanted to invite a galleon of chill people i had met and i couldn't without starting up a chartered galleon of my own and doing the emote in there

    At least we got a step further 😁, are they already part of three guilds perhaps ?

    Have you or your friends set privacy levels in such a way you or they can't accept these kind of things ?

    Yes, on PS5 I try to invite people and it’s telling me I dont have friends I can invite.

    Bizarre this doesn't work. Suspect cross platform between Xbox and Steam isn't as straight forward as you'd want, and that there's not enough revenue in the game to make it a priority to fix. Very poor....

    I am getting this error from both mine and my wife’s account - I contacted sot support and they asked if I had cross platform enabled via Xbox. I did. I also ensured them that I tried the following

    • inviting all 3 ways from the main menu
    • inviting while in game via emote
    • connecting one computer to a different wifi network
    • reinstalling the game
    • signing out and back into linked Xbox account

    They responded with a decently long email that basically stated this

    We are continuing to look into your report although we are marking your support ticket as resolved. These investigations take time and if we find any resolve we will address it in a future update. We take our support tickets very seriously and will keep this conflict open within our systems
