It's about time for the pirate generator to get an update.

  • A lot of players care about their pirate's appearance, and some even spend hours rolling pirates. I find it very annoying to find the pirate I like only to see that they are missing an eye, scars, horrific default make-up or missing teeth.

Out pirates' story should unfold with us along for the ride, give our pirates story sort of like we can give our ships stories through captaincy.

Having preferences will help a lot, gender, scars, old/young, body size etc. I am not asking for the ability to create a pirate from scratch, just a few tools to weed out the ones we don't want.

I am positive this addition will be well received by the community.

A lot of players worry about looks instead of jumping into a game, wasting a lot of "hours" looking for a pirate look they wont see but 2% of there gaming life. (Main Menu and during emotes)

only to see that they are missing an eye, scars, horrific default make-up or missing teeth.

Arg! they be pirates, not barbies.

just a few tools to weed out the ones we don't want.

Body Size, M/F only two the game can really get with. Or better yet, whatever you Favorite the game recognizes the features and re rolls using that.
Besides that. Making a pirate should not be a main priority, get into the game already! :D

Nah. Imo it's perfect. it creates alot of goofy pirates. People need to embrace the randomness of what is dealt.
