Its that time again. Major update from SoT that will change the whole game, resulting in a semi big update size.
PlayStation Players. Even if you played the Beta or got early access. You may already realized, the game isn't working right atm. We are expected to see some fixes...but fair warning.
Rare has a weird habit of updating the game with a 'quick fix' or like this one. Big Game changing update, and right out the gate...sigh..it breaks. Its common at this point and expected. "Rarely" does an update not break the game in someway or for some players.
Don't be discouraged if the first few few hours after release the game doesn't load, launch, crashes or just doesn't run smoothly like before.
Sometimes the best fix. Uninstall 100%. Clear cache & Reboot your system. Than, Install again. (Maybe even reboot your modem for kicks?) A clear installation as if you just bought the game might fix it. Not for everyone but some.
If you find problems, Report it. But do make sure...if you feel the need to create a Thread & type out how upset you are about game not working. (You were warned) Make sure someone else hasn't already made one. Its a killer to see the forums filled with the same thing where it could be easier to pack it all into one. (maybe someone found a fix?) OR even send a Support Ticket and give details what is going down.
Keep an eye on SoT Twitter page as well, they tend to give feedback on awareness once they find out something. Could be there end of things. Who knows.
All and all. Game is expected to not work, its a given.
But don't get bent out of shape because "The game I paid for" isn't working. What game does on Day one?
