I recently changed my gamertag and it shows it in the menus, but once I get in game it switches back to my old gamertag. Does anybody know why this is happening?

If your gamertag uses Latin-based characters, it will show the Latin alphabet equivalent (ö will appear as o, for example). If your gamertag uses non-Latin-based characters, your previous gamertag will continue to appear for older, classic experiences, such as some games and Xbox websites, while your new gamertag will appear on modern experiences, such as your Xbox console and the Xbox apps for PC and mobile.

@cthooloo4278 How long ago did you change your gtag?! Give it 48 hrs at least before you open a ticket.
