Alright, so this tall tale will be very different from all other tall tales cuz you literally time travel back to when the Pirate Lord was alive and trying to get to the Sea of Thieves! Like you get to experience the event that shaped the Sea of Thieves and can interact with it!
Like there will be multiple parts, like traveling through the thing to get to the Sea of Thieves, and you gotta do things to keep the ship afloat, and failure to do so results in a restart of the tall tale.
Then we can get some events that helped the start of the ocean we all know and love, like building structures for settlements, which will introduce things specific to that tall tale like tree chopping, rock mining, and processing and refining materials.
Now I don't know much about SoT lore, but for some of the parts they can make it about battles with Flameheart and his goons, parts about the monsters line oceans crawlers, phantoms, and skeletons and how they were made, and stuff like that.
I just feel like this would be sick and would have a lot of interactive potential, like more than other tall tales. Also we would call this tall tale series Sea of Thieves: Origins, which kinda sounds like a separate game or a DLC.
