Bats, Goats, Seagulls and Fishtanks

  • I want a greater variety of pets. As far as options go, we have an enjoyable amount, but I am willing to dish out more money if it means I can populate my boat with a wider variety of lovely aminals. Here's my personal selection alongside my reasoning.

    • Bats - Bats replace island seagulls in The Wilds (and I think in the Roar as well). I just think they're cool and could really help with certain ship aesthetics. The biggest issue would be the lack of things for them to roost on, but that could be rectified with a few minor geometry tweaks. Could have Megabats (the fruit eaters that look like a fox and a rodent got freaky on a Saturday night) and maybe two varieties of smaller bat like vampire bats or bug-eaters.

    • Goats - We have foxes. Foxes are pretty out there compared to the other four pet varieties. So to that end, why not add in goats? Think of all the goofy noises they could make when you forget to put them away during a naval battle! Add in a haystack trinket for the floor while you're at it.

    • Seagulls - Similar logic to the bats in that their prominence makes them desirable. Not much else to it, I feel like if we get bats, we have to get seagulls, even though seagulls are more likely.

    • Trinket Pets - We have three pet emotes, one for a rat, one for a crab and one for a rock (it counts). We also now have animated paintings. So why can't we have dynamic trinkets that allow us to house fishies? Or more exotic pets like axolotls? Frogs? The only reason they wouldn't would be the need to animate them. But hey, just charge us like $14.99. I'm a shameless shill, I'd by that!

Also give us a second pet slot so we can have two out at a time. But maybe keep the pet cap at four still. Would make those solo slooping excursions more comfortable.

  • @impsassy we have the seagull pocket pet emote (my personal favourite). Owls are also coming eventually.
