Changing ships size

  • I have an idea. If I’m playing with my friend I’m on a sloop it’s can have two people on it. Then a third friend wants to join. Make it so we can switch ship size at an outpost. Like changing ship cosmetics. I’m no coder in video games so maybe there’s a problem but I would like for you to consider it.

    Thanks from your neighborly,
    Scally wag

  • Server issues prevent this.

Number of ships/Players. 16 players allowed on a server/5 ships allowed per server
If the server is "Full" how are you gonna change ship size and add another player? Can't

Since you already gone to Port, sell what you got and logoff the server.

  • Dive to a Shipwright in the Sea of the Dammed where you could get the upgraded or downgraded ship, then sail through a portal to be put back in a server where there is space for your new ship.

    Problem solved?

  • @burnbacon the max player count for a server is actually 5 galleons or 20 players it wouldn't take too much to implement changing ship size and it wouldn't be a far stretch to assume the feature will be getting looked at considering there's a dry Dock still in the process of being built at port merrick!

  • @brotherbong3819 per this post, the max is 5 ships/ 14 players:
