so I was just hopping open crew servers, and loaded into an outpost where there were 2 storage crates on the dock with stacks of 99 fishes through them. immediately went to a seapost to sell them. 10 minutes later I get a grandpa beard and then banned. I didn't do anything wrong?
grandpabeard
Okay I have a theory, and it’s based on other weird things I’ve seen people be banned for in the last few days.
I think they’re integrating anti-cheat into the game now and deliberate traps have been left by the team to test the auto ban system they have in place. My reasoning?
Red and yellow are the beards to ban people (never heard of Grandpabeard) so this could be a new one made for the anti cheat.
Why would a massive stack of fish be ban worthy all of a sudden without anyone reporting the player that sold it?
Seen someone who said that 3 ancient skeletons popped up in quick succession and they got banned for killing them (support overturned the decision I believe).Weird things are happening and it’s very different behaviour than what we’ve seen in the past. Maybe i’m right, maybe I’m wrong. Hmm.
