so how long will it take rare to fix the locked milestones on the captained ships?

  • This issue has been going around from december of last year, we are close to march and it still has not been fixed. They promised to fix it in january update but they didnt then they said they will fix it with the next patch yet i got in today and still no fix. its been months i raised multiple support tickets and all they say is they are investigating the manner..... do we mean so little to rare as costumers?

  • are you talking about the logbook cosmetics and the banners and that kind of stuff that were bugged?

    that started working for me again at the beginning of season 11

    Pretty much all my unlocked milestones like crests symbols extc are all locked again for some reason. this issue as you can see whas already shown to rare, yet they said they fixed it in season 11 which is a lie and then they are sweeping it under the rug by staying quiet. idk what to do anymore support ticket doesnt work and its extremely frustrating that they are not solving this issue at all

  • i got another response from suppoprt is the same bull they always say (i wonder if they even care to type a response or just an automated reply) same we are still investigating the issue and IF we find the issue solve in a next update, i outright feel scammed about this

  • @madrooster8357 there are higher priority issues to deal with right now. They will get to it eventually.

  • @tesiccl really so not being able to use my hard earned milestones i and many others worked FOR MONTHS OR EVEN A YEAR not priority to them? we already halfway through march almost a quarter of the year and they havent been unable to fix this issue, and whats worst is not even in the known isssues anymore, they are just sweeping it under the rug and leaving us all to dry i have never seen a company that is okay with leaving their customers with such a horrendous bug and taking almost a quarter of a year to fix...

  • We can look at most bugs in two categories when it comes to priorities. On one hand there are game breaking bugs that prevent the use of the game, and on the other are issues that, while clearly in need of addressing, do not prevent the customer from playing the game.

    You achieved these things and want to make use of the titles/decor etc that marks your achievement. You're not being unreasonable by demanding it be fixed, after all you DID earn it, I would be miffed too. However you're NOT being locked out of the game by some rogue beard error, or having the physics go all bizarro-world on you, which you must admit would be a much higher priority on the to-do list as these kind of issues prevent people from playing the game in the first place. These problems are a daily occurrence for Rare, and I cant imagine how much pressure is on the programmers doing damage control.

    This isnt me saying 'suck it up, people have it worse than you', i promise. What I AM trying to encourage is that you let your shoulders relax a little, lean back a tad more, and keep enjoying the still playable game while regularly reminding the support system that your issue isn't going away and does need to be addressed.

  • yeah i tried your advice but i cant enjoy the game the bug has still not been fixed all the way from december i play but i dont even know if i am getting any milestones at all since they are locked so it doesnt matter what i do i get 0 milestones recorded. And whats worse is Rares lack of transparency and care, how hard would it be to respond saying we will adress your issue on x patch, or hey i know its taken us almost HALF A YEAR but we are working on it. but no complete radio silence, all they do is answer with a programmed auto response with the same reply, its absurd, if i treated my clients like this i would have lost my job months ago... @whitestag1992
