Not sure for how many people this is happening, but for me and some friends after the update sea of thieves will not work anymore. I will click play and the steam will act like its opening, says its running and its in my task manager but nothing ever happens and the game never pops up. I tried checking file integerity, clearing steam download cache, checking my drivers for updates, restarting my computer and uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing has worked at all, if anyone else has an idea to try or know if this is commonly going on lemme know

@mizthewitch Right click on the game, click properties, add "-dx11" to the launch options (without quotes)
@mizthewitch Had the same issue launching after the update... It does eventually load but takes several minutes. The -dx11 launch setting sorted that right out. Quite happy as the joining game time has been sped up quite considerably where after setting sail I the Emporium screens would loop through 3 or 4 times before I'd spawn in.. Now it spawns in within 2-3 screens (not loops) (Running off a HDD since this game is too big for my available space on SSD)
@mizthewitch I have almost the same problem on my series x I can get past the season 11 title screen and then It kicks me back to the xbox dashboard. I checked the status page on this website and it say everything is running great!? Lol newsflash it's not!!!
