Are you for real? Release an update while simultaneously announce MS Store won't be able to install it. Which means, we can't play the game.
Or was this not supposed to relate to updates? Error code is x87e0000f
The lack of details about the announced error is quite bad community interaction.
I think that's a general error code.
Have you tried installing from the Gamepass app on your phone?
@pithyrumble I've tried reinstalling, repairing, resetting the whole Xbox app, Gaming service, MS Store.
Other applications in MS store install/update with no issues.
Nervernind my bad. Just checked the Xbox app and you can only remote install to consoles. 😅😱
Maybe slip J a low key, polite DM and see if there's a workaround yet?

Happy to see you are downloading now - my experience was that the MS Store (on PC) was unable to update/uninstall or re-install after the update.
Workaround: I opened the XBox App (on PC) went to my Library, cleared the failure and then re-downloaded the new build.

Hey, so console peasant here, (also old enough to need help buying a laptop lol.) You can remote install from the Xbox app on your phone to a non Steam PC?

I don't know what I did (cleared the store cache, reinstalled the store, and cleaned up my C drive even though I install all games on an external drive) but something worked and the game downloaded like it should.

I'm on Xbox series S.
I updated the game. It loads to the press any key to continue screen. I press X or Y or any key... it goes to my pirate and options for play game, whats new or emporium. 2 seconds later it crashes back to Xbox main screen.
I've tried uninstalling, resetting the console. I'm open in my NAT connection. Game worked fine before update... now it just crashes.
