Has there been any thought about bringing ship lantern customization (not color obviously, but style) into the game? I'm not sure how difficult that would be for the devs to put into the game, but i think that it would be a very nice thing to have and not just for the sake of captained ships, but in general. Thoughts?

@spoopy9host My next suggestion was going to be harpoons after I saw how people reacted to the idea of lanterns, but yes custom harpoon styles would be great too.
@veltanos At this point my only wish is for the captain's quarters' doors to be usable in the gally. Those hinges have been rusted shut for too long.

That does bring up a good point... since we already have dozens of lantern assets in game already, why can't we just apply any skins we've purchased or unlocked for our personal lanterns onto the ships as well?
I would love to set all mine to the Firefly Lantern we unlocked in S4...
I'd rather have rigging customization... Junk rigging, Bermuda rigging, lateen rigging, gaff rigging, deploying studding sails... That's be a fun way to customize your ship!
But sadly, fore-and-aft riggings would block the crows nest ladder, and if DA sails "gave enough of a perceived advantage in naval encounters" to warrant removing the cut out then there is zero chance of seeing a fore-and-aft rigging. 😭
