Robbing the Souvenirs in Merchants name.

  • Here’s an idea.

The Sovereigns have accrued enough money from negotiating with the other trading companies using the loot that we have given them to sell on our behalf. They expanded and took over the old Sea Dogs’ Tavern.

Now the Merchants’ Alliance feel desperate and are tasking pirates to do their dirty work. They are asking pirates to sneak into the newly acquired Sovereigns Tavern (old Sea Dog’s Tavern) unnoticed, and steal from their vault and bring it back to them. However, as the Merchants’ Alliance has a hard time trusting pirates, they have sent multiple requests to differing pirate crews, and as one crew is working this voyage, there is a good chance that another crew decides they can do it better.

  • I feel like after the S10 delay, Rare owes us a few story adventures. This could be as fun as any of them.

I wish you luck, but as people have pointed out if we just got S11, then they're stabilizing S12, writing S13, and brainstorming S14. So if this is picked up, you got a while until you'll see it.

  • Always double check autocorrect before posting.

  • @legion1te the Sovereigns are the bad guys... I vote no on this. They can build a base somewhere, just don't take Sea Dogs Tavern

  • I like the concept but not the location.

I would suggest that the loot be on a Sovereign treasure ship that travels across the map.

Why? They didn't misspell any words. Autocorrect wouldn't have caught anything.

You do realize 'souvenir' is an actual word, right? Obviously they meant 'sovereign' but it looks like everyone else here understood what they meant without a snarky response.

  • @thegrimpreacher I mean his word sovereign was autocorrected to souvenir. I'm aware it's a word but you generally want your title to at least be correct since it can't be edited.

You seem to have actually understood all of this but disagree, that's fine 👍

Sovereigns are more just a tool of the gmu. I think if anyone takes the arena tavern, it should be the gmu! Not necessarily the way its proposed, but in some manner since the gmu will want to get a foothold in the sea of thieves, and arena tavern is central, built up, and has a good vantage point for them.

  • I like the concept as a second competitive voyage. The Skull of Siren Song focuses largely on naval combat, and this could focus much more on land combat. Having to raid the Sovereign's Tavern while fighting off other crews sounds pretty fun. Could have the place be like a big fortress with traps, puzzles, weapons, and a large vault at the end that takes some time to crack. Then it becomes a race back to whatever outpost to sell their prized loot to the merchants.

Might work better as a competitive voyage for the reapers though. Would make a bit more lore sense and would make it so the voyage has 1 guaranteed sell location, like SoSS.
