The decision to remove Tattered Parchments as a random spawn in barrels, although sensible from the perspective that it makes it harder to farm the new Kingly loot, has made it almost impossible to complete the resource crate deliveries. Gunpowder Kegs, in particular, are going to be very difficult to complete as they're no longer a part of the standard voyages (which used to task the player with delivering up to eight at one time). Rare, consider bringing back Tattered Parchments as a single source for delivering the aforementioned crates and kegs. That way, it won't make it too easy to farm Kingly loot and will also remove some of the RNG of the resource crate delivery grind. When it comes to the player experience, choose "kind" over "grind".

I waited years to do some of what I am doing in season 11. I'm on the "wait until it makes sense plan", lol
It's been nearly two months since Season 11 launched and I have only found ONE message in a bottle for a Merchant Crate delivery (a fruit crate). Probably 70-80% of the time, messages in a bottle are OoS-related... either Skeleton Captains or a Skeleton Lord.
They really should be a random bonus for regular Merchant deliveries. Instead of just getting 4 crates, there should be a random chance you get a fifth, random fruit/wood/cannonball/gunpowder keg delivery.
I have a yet to find a single bottle quest for crate delivery, my friend has only managed to find one wood crate quest.
These commendations have become pretty much impossible, I dedicated a few sessions to just collecting bottles so I've decided that it's definitely not worth the time to focus on now, and will just wait for them to be included into merchant voyages.@baggiesman6984 Try the pink journals instead, they always had a better spawn rate for merchant stuff then barrels and bottle I found.
Their spawn locations are also pretty fixed, so you can memorize 1 island, and run around it. They don't always appear though.

Can you still get them from reading the books on islands? If you find a merchant book you can reset the island over and over to get a bunch.
I thought they patched that?
We are all on the same boat guys.... no more easy way to get a simply fruit/wood/cannon crates and kegs delivery. Hope really much Developers will fix that like they fix the season 12 Commendations.... we all appreciate they're hard work!!! Really hope they will make a change in that way. Thanks so much
