I have experienced this bug several times now. I will queue a match from an outpost on a new ship; it takes me underwater, and then moments later, it kicks me back to the surface at a different outpost. Now, you cannot interact with anything on the ship at this point (the underwater state is still intact). If you attempt to kill yourself, alt+f4 and rejoin, or blackscreen, you will be teleported to a random island that has a mermaid. You might think...well, maybe I can take this mermaid, but nope, it will keep you on that random island. No matter what you do from this position, you are stuck on the island. If you kill yourself here, you hear the noise of the outpost, but then it becomes quiet and tells you your ship sank, and then you have to start the cycle all over again at the outpost. I have a vid capturing a portion of it. It is quite frustrating though if you get a really good supp up at an outpost.

Just to be clear, this bug also persists until you manage to get ship sunk, and then after, you have to alt + f4 or you are stuck in this cycle. The bugs here are just so deeply coupled. It is like one bug communicates with the other bugs and decide to have a family reunion in your house without asking.
@burnbacon I have gotten this 2 times since then. I just now got it again lol def not fixed. I have full thing recorded start to finish via a vod
