more problems i have with season11

  • just some random things i cant get behind...

    • the endless blackscreens --- blackscreens are taking way too long again
    • the pumped up PVE encounters --- ive seen more PVEvPVE fights on the water in s11 than ever before, fleet vs meg, meg vs skelly sloop, skelly sloop vs ghostfleet, i see it basically daily
    • the pingspikes --- i mean they are always there but its extreme in s11

yeah this season needs another hotfix asap

  • @locke5474677 I personally like more PVE stuff myself.

    1. I feel like that's totally depends on which console you use unfortunately. I'm on an Xbox S and I have yet to encounter a black screen.

    2. I disagree with you on this, I'm loving the increase of PvE threats! (Besides maybe the megs...)

    3. Gotta agree w you there, hit with more rubber banding than usual

Please don’t let them remove this.

  • i actually dont mind it too much, i just think its so much that at this point every PVP encounter has a PVE factor in it, which makes it insanely hard and unpredictable, especially if you are a solo.

no lie 50% of my adventure fights had a skelly or a meg joining in, its just too much for a solo. how are you supposed to fight bigger crews when leaving your ship is superhighrisk.

  • @locke5474677 I love it when that happens. Use it to your advantage.

  • @wonderwaffle559 Now how is one to use a megalodon aggravated by an attacking skeleton ship firing pot shots to their advantage?! What am I missing here besides adrenaline? lol.

  • @jrtad said in more problems i have with season11:

Focus fire on the skelly ship, especially if the meg is drawing their fire. Meg will bite them instead sometimes lol. Meg is less aggressive than skellies, so always go for the skelly first.

  • This game is 1000x better with regular emergent spawns imo.

Better for pve and better for adventure pvp.

Better for comms, better hunting for casual players, better for random pveing, better for random scenarios.

There has been a multi year drought for consistent emergent spawns and whether unintentional or intentional any bump in encounters is better for the game overall imo.

The quality of life for meg hunters specifically goes up significantly if they become more random and frequent. Then it doesn't keep people in a bubble of necessary routine for outcome.

I still think it's the mass diving in and out that's leading to a lot of it but either way I hope it stays.

  • Problems you have aren’t due to season 11: but just the update added some bugs.

This happens with a lot of live service games, and within a couple weeks a lot of that stuff gets resolved.

Though I am glad for the increased emergent threats… there was a while where we weren’t getting enough of them.

  • @pithyrumble Ok, thanks. I have never seen megalodons attack anything other than players. Next time, I wont just run for my life screaming in terror and leaving a puddle in my chair. ;)
