on part 2 of monkey island and i went to both the citizen and the shop dude and i cant see the last line where i have to trade with them and im on xbox

First off, that would be a support issue. You would need to contact Rare directly.
Secondly, you may have missed a step. You may have to talk to the mojo lady before you can talk to the merchants. I believe after you talk to the pirate leaders about the 3 trials you need to talk to the mojo lady and she will tell you to collect the items you need. After that you can interact with the merchants. Once you collect everything you need then you return to the mojo lady who will give you the Anti-Fog potion.
@wyvern08444 did you ever figure this out? I'm currently having the same problem. I completed part 1 %100 but when I talk to the man selling the map in part 2 (citizen of melee) he doesn't give me the 4th option of dialogue.
I had this problem. You have to re-talk to him by pressing Y, and THEN it'll give you the quest AGAIN. I did this while I was standing infront of him, put the crate I already had down, talked to him, the quest updated. I picked up the crate again, and THEN, and only then, did I see the option to give him the crate by pressing x. Took me half an hour to figure this out. There should be some major prompting for this problem, as I've seen quite a few people have this issue.
