I'm on pc, the xbox app where I have SOT downloaded continues to launch steam only when trying to play with friends. There is no fix. I've uninstalled the game completely and redownloaded it to xbox only. Still have the issue. I've unlinked my steam and xbox accounts. Still the same issue. It looks like this has been a continuous problem because I saw posts from a couple years ago with the same exact issue.

@goldensnc94 see if this works for you, it worked for my friend when he was having the same issue.
Unfortunately I hadn’t found this solution in time so I completely reformatted my computer to fix the issue. Hopefully this works for you and you don’t have to do what I did.
