I want to suggest you a new item on Sea of Thieves wich is water cannon ball, when shoot with this ball it is equivalent to 1 water bucket in the ship of my enemy. Of course that is necessary put certain difficult to found this ball or be expensive to bought.

Exactly my thoughts...one cannonball hit, one ballast ball...just the same
@goldsmen All I heard was mixing powder and water.. could be water cannon shot, could be a protein shake.
I don't think it's powerful enough to make it rare, it's far more interesting as a common resource.
It would be interesting for a solo like me that is stronger in naval and weaker in tdm that regularly fights players that are the opposite.
Going over requires risking losing the upper hand and the fight in general but naval-only creates very long drawn out scenarios.
Using strategy with regular and water cannonballs could be interesting in some scenarios.
@goldsmen Could work, but I think that the ball could be used against skull and others kind of enemies
