Hourglass, selling flags commendation

    Well, Rare fixed the commendation for selling flags, but there are other problems, people are not using many flags, they use the guild flag which doesn't count towards hourglass and flags from the same faction don't count towards commendations.

    I'm playing right now, I won 13 battles, I only got 3 flags, 2 of which were guild flags and one was a reaper flag (the same faction I represent.)

    I'm lv 1000 in the servant faction but I don't have the commendation because it was bugged until a while ago, now with the problem fixed it will still take me a long time to get something I should already have... at the current rate it's only around level 1200 to be able to complete that.

    I am proposing that any flag won in battle counts towards the commendation and as a pvp flag, and taking advantage of this I ask that the other commendations that are tied to this system of only progressing with ships from a rival faction, accept defeated ships from the same faction, such as the champions for example.

    I can sympathize with you and your situation. The problem began when Rare made same faction battles a thing. Sinking a Servant ship while being a Servant has the same result.

    Problem is that everyone wants the new Guild emissary rewards. You may get lucky next week when the rewards reset and everyone gets the reward.

    @coffeelight5545 I hope so, but I think they need to review the things I mentioned, finding a champion ship is already very rare, and when we do find it from the same faction as ours, it's frustrating.

    The problem is there is no benefit for keeping the champion ship status. If there was a significant boost in Alligance reputation or commendations that require you to be a champion then maybe we would see more champion ships

    @coffeelight5545 People don't risk many streaks because if they are sunk they lose everything, if there was a change so that when you lose a battle you still receive half the xp from your streaks I think everyone would risk more.

    @coffeelight5545 you get a decent ammount more allegiance as a champion. after level 100 as a champion its 2 wins per level rather than 3.

    I didn’t know that. As @lleorb mentioned above your post, most people lower after 4 wins because you loose everything if you lose the match.

    I have said before that you should earn half the hourglass value if you loose.

    Yes, but you get a decent amount of allegiance for selling the hourglass at 4 and you want to restart if you don't have the 50 champion streaks attained (and most don't). An allegiance bump is not worth the risk unless you're session is very long and you don't lose games.

    The bottom line is that the commendations were made for hourglass's launch. Hourglass has changed and so should the commendations.
