Add a separate Input Sensitivity setting option for Map, Cannons, Harpoon, etc.

  • Add sensitivity for aiming down on:

    • World Map
    • Spyglass
    • Harpoon
    • Cannons
    • Camera in emote/sit stance
    • X-mark map (zoom)

I want to play on low sensitivity because of aiming with weapons but then it is impossibly slow and inconvenient to move with other things mentioned above.

    Edit:
If there is no option to set the essential settings in the game, then for some players it means a huge disadvantage.
If someone has no option to customize DPI on their mouse and has no DPI Shift button, then they are handicapped.

    See the video feedback.

This is the must-have thing that should be implemented into the game unless you want to make the game unfair for a specific group of players.
It is ok to add only 1 setting slider that controls the camera in special modes (Cannons, Harpoon, etc.).

  • Cannons dont need adjusting. Its balanced for all ships so everyone aims the same speed.
    Same with Harpoons

Map I will never understand unless it mainly for those who wish to scan a map quickly looking for reapers before switching servers. (mind you..just use the Reaper table)

    Same with Spyglass....just use EoR

You response does not make any sense. Everybody can adjust it by its mouse's DPI settings.

However, it would be a huge QoL to have an in-game option as well to be able to adjust everything to my own needs.
For example, when using Spyglass or Map or (any of the above-mentioned) I have to always use my switch DPI button to be able to move because my native setting for DPI is low.
... while some other players can be used to have higher DPI so they have much better movement while using Map, Cannons, etc.

So, no it CANNOT be balanced because it's changeable. This change actually would make it balanced, because you can set it by your needs.

  • The game even slows the sensitivity down automatically when underwater and the setting for ADS sensitivity wont even let me match with my default look speed.

It sucks and it should change, there should be 1 universal sensitivity setting that applies everywhere.

He's right...harpoon and cannon is for everyone at the same speed, no matter the DPI
Those 2 are fine and balanced
But I agree with the other things, especially the map, that would be great

  • @schwammlgott Everything is at the same speed for everyone, that's the point and a huge issue here.
Everybody is different and everybody plays on different DPI that fits them.

The issue comes when somebody wants to play the game not just to chill on the Captain's chair but also to be able to kill the opponent. Lowering DPi is a natural thing PvP-oriented players usually do.

If there is no option to set the essential settings in the game, then for some players it means a huge disadvantage.

    Just NO!!!
    Deal with it!!!
I'm on XBox and if cannons get different aiming speeds, it would be totally unfair and chances to win for me would go down to zero!
The fact, that PC is in no advantage when it comes to naval fight, as long as they don’t board, is a thing that keeps me playing this game and enjoing it...THIS IS TOTALLY BALANCED for crossplay

Bro? :D It would make it more balanced with this.
It's not even an argument that you have. It is NOT the same speed for everyone, I can already change the aiming speed because of my hardware peripherals (see the video). Now, you are against yourself. It is unbalanced right now, nobody has the same aiming speed as you think, because of missing settings for this.

Players can adjust it and make it faster/slower, but third-party software or additional hardware is required, so it's unfair that someone can achieve it and someone (like you) cannot.
