Give Guild XP for completing events

  • Since most of the guilds have between 1-5 members and 99.9% will never achieve guild lvl 1000, reward players for playing your game while being in a guild.

Give Guild XP for completing world events, voyages and killing captain skeletons or megalodons.

And why does hourglass gives so much guild XP?! You knew people exploited HG since it came out in season 8, people got the lvl 1000 curse in the first month, what made you think the situation won't be the same with guilds??????

  • I get that guilds are kinda tied to Sovereigns, so turning in loot is the logical way to progress them. That said, I do think it would be nice if more things, like world events, gave guild progression as well.

In fact I initially kind of expected that more things would add progression given how long it seems it will take to get through all ten distinctions for the average guild, and the fact that you can join up to three of them.

They don't need to band-aid guilds by watering it down so the guilds with 1-5 players can actually make progression.

They need to make an easy IN GAME way to recruit to your guild, be able to merge guilds, and make it so that people can easily get involved with FULL guilds.

That is how they need to fix guilds.

  • Give a boost if you are able to complete all shrines without sinking your guild ship.
Complete Any and all world events, the more on your guild ship, the bigger payout.

  • I agree, in the hourglass you receive xp even without selling, only for a completed battle, completed events should also count, missions, sea monsters....

  • @cpt-juke5781 they've said they are tweaking the disparity between hourglass and pve (haven't specified whether hg will be nerfed or pve buffed) they've also acknowledged hg exploit and stated will look to reset progression from those that have abused it

In terms of your question about completion. I'd guess because only really the winner of hg gets decent progression. If you made events count then you could have 5 ships in 1 or more guilds do a world event together all get same progress and not be bothered on who sells the loot. They do actually want to promote some healthy competition

Once you reach emissary then events will progress your flag level like they do normal emissaries but they don't award rep directly to any other emissaries
