Ahoy to everyone of you, I hope you're having a great day. Today I want to talk about my suggestions of a complete revamp of Hourglass progression & rewards in Sea of Thieves.
Okay so before I start I want to talk about Hourglass, Hourglass is a really fun mode which I & yall put many hours into it, it a grind & alots of Fun/Rage with friends, but many of you well know that those PVP curse are not obtainable for the average player base especially those golden one, I know the developer put their hearts into making this game better & I love it, I used to complain alots about Sea of Thieves myself but I stopped & decided that Sea of Thieves was unique & we all know there will be no others better Pirate game as good as Sea of Thieves.
So I'm writing this today cause I personally think that Hourglass isn't rewarding enough, reward stop at level 200 after that it basically a game of try not to get burned out of this game & take a 7 month brake, until level 1000 or 9999.
Let begin with the suggestions !

Add like Arena a Silver Currencie.
Le me explain myself why I want to add another Currencie to Hourglass, I want to add the Silver Currencie to make it more rewarding while leveling up Hourglass without being brute Gold. -
Every 1 level you would get 100 Silver, Ex : 9 level is 900 Silver Coins.

Every 10 Level you get 1000 Silver Coins.

Every 100 Level you get 10k Silver Coins.

Every 1000 Level you 1k Silver Coins.
Example 1 : level 1 to 100 will be 30k Silver Coins, So every 100 level you should have 30k Silver Coins.
So you should have 400k Silver Coins from your Journey of level 1 to 1000 &
3 989 900 Silver Coins in Total from 1 to 9999 !
Example of rewards you can buy with Silver Coins ( SC ) !
- 1000 SC Can Buy ( CB ) : 5000 Gold.
- 1000 SC CB : 100 Doubloons.
- 5000 SC CB : 10 Ancient Coins.
- 10k SC CB : a Company Muti-pass which can add 1 level of any of trading company you like, just like the 1 you can buy per month with Larinna.
- 50k SC CB a Piece of Silver Sailor Set wich includes :
Cannon, Wheel, Capstan, Sniper, Blunderbuss & Equipment, ETC - & the Grand price will be 250k SC CB the Silver Curse !
Main way to get Silver Coins will be with Hourglass or with
- 7500 Gold CB 1000 SC.
- 150 Doubloons CB 1000 SC.
But no you won't be able to just buy Silver Coins & get all the Silver Sailors Set
Cause it will be locked behind level 200 for both Faction so in order to begin buying the Silver sets or curse you'll have to be level 200 in Guardian of Fortune & Servant of the Flame now you'll be able to buy Silver set.
Also after Level 200 for both Faction it should be Every ship sunk is 1 level.
