What's Your Pirate's Theme?

  • So I feel like whenever everyone chooses the clothes for their pirate and choosing they're pirate they want to go with a theme. I went with a theme of simple yet nice looking with castaway bilge rat jacket, midnight blades shirt, parrot pants, though I may change it to black pants, Grand admiral gloves, belt, and boots, and my pirate is a fit guy with brown hair and no beard. Tell me you're pirate's theme.

  • The most piratey pirate that ever looked like a pirate! I dont care about anything else on my character, as long as he looks like a thug that would steal your life savings, im happy with my pirates look.

  • @devtryak
I got a flames and fire theme going on. Mind you, not reapers/flameheart supporter. It's more.. Like a devils roar style thing. Basically a mix of ashen dragon cosmetics and other fire based stuff without the reaper/skeleton/flameheart stuff. I kinda patterned them as a sort of alternative to flameheart, being a flame that seeks not to destroy, but to illuminate and warm.

Edit: I'd love to get my hands on a proper icy set of cosmetics someday as well. Just to have as an counterpart to the flame stuff.

  • My pirate has nearly always been a bilge rat or sea hobo but, lately, a bit more of a rogue.

I've dabbled in a few cleaner/fancier looks but prefer a bedraggled style. Most of the time, this is what he looks like these days:

  • Scoundrel, always.

  • My pirate theme is a Ashen Lord

  • he didn't have western attire options so he wore a skirt for years and killed a lot of monsters

    tale as old as time

  • Purple.

Blah blah blah minimum character response...

    A little pink too.

I currently have 5 pets equipped... why stop at 6?

  • Practical. Looks like someone you could trust. And yet, you can't trust him.

  • @devtryak iv had the same theme since day one ...... a drunken adventurer sailing from tavern to tavern gathering gold for grog

  • Dirty, smelly, unwashed, sea hobo.

A lazy, lying, greasy little weasel.

Patchwork clothes, a matted rat's nest for hair, and neglected, barely functioning equipment.

I like the idea of this loser showing up in the Sea of Thieves, finding out they're functionally immortal and abusing it to get out of anything strenuous such as battling other pirates.

  • I chose Crowe as a name bc I wanted to have my ship be named the Jackdaw and I like puns.

So I guess my theme is puns, and black. And green now bc Jackdaw sank and ghost stuff is green-teal.

  • @otherfanboy

    I respect that

  • @silverwing-525

For frost set, I would say that the frostbite stuff mine work, or the frozen horizon set

  • @mastermarrax

    A classic

  • @pithyrumble

    I respect that pet count

  • When I'm not playing with friends, I tend to have a Merchant theme. I get a strange satisfaction from being a humble trader, shipping goods across the sea.

  • @mrat13

I can understand that. Sometimes doing something like that feels refreshing. One of my friends and I plan on doing sessions where we talk in game chat with stereotypical accents, a sessions where our pirates are fancy looking and we'll ourselves governors, we want to do an undercover swabbie session, and we want to do a Sea of Thieves Police session.

  • A skeleton that instills fear into my enemies

  • @blazegamer44311

I like it. As the YouTuber Blarg once said, "It's to install fear in our enemies!"

  • My pirate has a drowned/tattered look. Basically the wicked web clothing set with the sunken curse and all silver accessories.

  • @ollieoxenfree

I like it! Can't go wrong with a sunken pirate

  • Fear.

Once I became a skeleton, players started missing a lot more shots on me!

Before that, I was wearing mostly Dark Adventurer.

Before that, I was wearing mostly Arena cosmetics.

  • @grumpyw01f

Gotta, as the YouTuber Blarg once said, install fear into our enemies.
