When will the Legend of Monkey Island achievement be fixed?

I believe it will be fixed with the release of Season 10, so 19th October.
I have also heard reports that you can pop the final achievement by completing the first two tall tales again, but I cannot confirm this.
That is not true. I tried to pop the final achievement by completing 100% the first two tales (again), yet nothing happened.

I thought re-completing the first two tales fixed the issue with the commendations and the shanty reward, but the achievement issue was completely separate?
I haven't done the last MI tale yet, as I was waiting for this to be fixed. If the achievement issue that popped up afterwards is still not working, I guess I'll wait some more.

No you haven't. Under your account, the Legend of Monkey Island achievement, it's still locked.

The title and the shanty was fixed by support October 6th.
Here's some info from the True Achievements forum;
It doesn't appear any cumulative achievements that are synched as you progress with them are currently tracking/unlocking since the 3rd or 4th of this month as nobody on TA (asides from the two very clear cheaters who started the game this month and completed it the same day they started) has unlocked any such achievements since then. All other achievements seem unaffected though.
I ran 4 Legend of the Veil voyages on Saturday or Sunday and didn't see my achievement progress synch for the first time ever after setting sail in a new session. I put a ticket in to Rare Support shortly after with photos showing my in-game commendation is at 95 but the tracker is stuck at 91%. They replied "Ahoy there. Thank you for your game report. I can confirm that other players have also experienced this issue, and all reports are being forwarded to the team to find a resolution. Please keep an eye on our social channels and future updates for any further information surrounding this issue. We thank you for your patience while this issue is being investigated.
https://support.seaofthieves.com/articles/14227784608658-Ach...There still isn't an update to that post they linked me to on their website as Rare usually does when something is fixed, so I presume it's still being investigated. The same post was also on their Twitter feed and there's been nothing said in the few days either. I've chosen to hold off on running my final 5 veils for the time being until I know for certain the tracker is up and working again. I can't wrap my mind around doing 100 more of them if I were to do it now and only receive the in-game commendation but not the achievement. Rare has in the past assisted in unlocking achievements like the all Hunter's Call commendations when you provide photos you've done the task but not been properly rewarded, however I don't even want to take that risk with this achievement in the event that they can't help for whatever reason.
I'll update my post when I see some news from Rare and hopefully that'll be to say everything is fixed and in working order again.

@hammerpunch Just a prediction here, this thread will end up being 30 days old, we ask again when is it being fixed, and it gets locked.
Might be affecting all achievements. I didn't get the one for "Sworn Guild Captain" for pledging a captain ship to a guild (commendation unlocked though) on both XBox and Steam.
I haven't actually loaded into the game yet, so it might unlock when I do that but if the commendation unlocked you'd think it would have counted.
@europa4033 Sadly I won't play the game again until this thing with the achievements have been sorted out. Many of the Season 10 achievements are bugged too.
@pawghub Which ones? Could you be more specific? Did the one for completing all commendations in all 3 tall tales unlock for you? Did you complete any of the the first two tales before September 28th?
Aye before the update, I did the first 2 Tall Tales from Monkey Island, got all commendations and corresponding achievements fine. (although, the Scumm Bars door bugged closed on me, luckily the back door was open still and jumped across dock to finish off whatever part I was upto then).
Then after the update I started the 3rd tale, I felt something was a miss, cause the commendations weren't popping on screen, but they were unlocked in the menus as I progressed through. Alas no achievements, until I signed in the day after to try my hand at A Pirates Life and low and behold, the last 3 achievements popped on my phones app, I was like hmm? oh, lol.
LeChuck, LeChuck Commendations and ALL Monkey Island Commendations were the 3 achievements I believe.
@pawghub When looking at your Xbox profile, you unlocked all the Monkey Island Tall Tale achievements during October meaning after the Lair of Lechuck update. This bug seem to only affect people that have completed the first 2 Monkey Island tales before the update with the third one on Sep 28th. All commendations unlocked in all 3 tall tales, commendation, shanty and title unlocked. But no achievement..

Just as an update, but 'Sworn Guild Captain' achievement did pop when I logged in over the weekend.
"The Legend of Monkey Island" is still not unlocked though.
I either guess this is harder to fix than expected or not prioritized at the moment from the devs.
Since it is regarding an in-game reward that've been met and completed and the only thing that needs fixing are the Rare servers telling the MS servers so to unlock the achievement one would think it's an easy fix. But I am not a developer so my guess is as good as all of yours.Here's to hoping that this will auto-pop upon login rather sooner that later. Tankards up!
