A new way to get ancient coins. No idea for getting them.

    I have absolutely zero idea what they could do to get more ancient coins, there not supposed to be easy to get. Sure there is a option of buying them but most people don't like to spend money on games. I'm not complaining about not having ancient coins, I'm complaining that you rarly get them. The battle pass has ancient coins as a reward but after you complete it there is no other way to get ancient coins without getting a ancient skeleton to spawn. I believe it's a .1% chance of spawning.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong

    @hiradc I get that. It's a video game company. But wouldn't you want everyone to enjoy your game?

    @hiradc not saying that you have to buy cosmetics to enjoy a game. It would be nice get a collectors pet without spending money

    Housing is free, groceries are free, cars are free, ancient coins should be free...

    Battle Pass and Ancient Skellies...caught more Ancient Skellies than the whole playerbase has seen the Shrouded Ghost lol, they aren't that rare.

    You could also participate in Microsoft Rewards and fairly easily make 5-10$ a month and use that to buy AC.

    @m97yawadiar there's a free pet in insider rewards but it is quite a late one.
    I don't think we're entitled to anything free, and I don't think people's ability to enjoy the game is based on their access to cosmetics. I much prefer this model over having to pay for new content.

    There are ancient skellies. There are free emotes ,twitch drops, random gifts at various times of the year. They did recently do an increased spawn rate of the skellies for a specific event.

    @m97yawadiar Ancient Coins are not needed to enjoy the game. Rare needs to make money, everybody does. It isn't free to run a game...

    The only change they should implement in this regard is a way to get ancient coins by sailing, perhaps an enemy that gets on your ship or a megalodon that drops it.

    ancient skeletons only spawn if you are on islands so most players who get them are those who do activities on dry land, this seems bad to me.

    I’m sitting here with 200,000 Microsoft points, so about £200 to spend on whatever I want.

    All I did was change my phone, home laptop, and work laptops search engine to Bing.

    I mean... Firefox... but yeah. Boost the Chrome clone if you're lazy lol. (Bing and Edge are Chromium builds so it's still just Google with a fresh bias)

    Man, be grateful we can get ancient coins for free in the first place. I've been able to get two pets for free and I'm getting close to being able to afford the Spinal skin. I'm sure a lot of people play for free through gamepass, so Rare has to make money on the game somehow, servers aren't free.

    It has been a while since I've seen an anicent skelly though, so when I hear the noise they make, I turn into caveman Spongebob

    I'm pretty sure I've paid for the base game several times over lol and more like me.

    But I digress: there are multiple ways of getting AC without your bank account and SoT is fairly generous.
