A disturbing lack of monkeys on 'Monkey Island'

    This game is great, but in terms of animal life it's practically dead.

    The only real interactive animal in the ocean is sharks, I won't count Meg or Kraken in this since they're events.

    Islands have pigs, chickens and snakes but that's about it.

    I did all the Monkey Island Tales today, and throughout all of it I couldn't help but to notice the distinct lack of monkeys on 'Monkey Island' .. There are 3 at the very end of Monkey Island 1, Monkey Island 2 has 'the beast' but the island is otherwise uninhabited by anything other than a few dogs.. but Monkey Island itself has 1 monkey, and nothing else.. wth?

    Where are the whales, the squids? I've read some reddit posts about how the devs don't want us to be able to kill whales as it would be in 'bad taste' but sharks are fine I guess.. just don't make them kill-able, that'd work..

    Honestly the world, as beautiful as it is, just feels lifeless :(

    @buckydk Yeah, I'd like to see this too honestly. It would go a long way if we had dolphins splash on rare occasions. Same with whales.

    I think megs kind of fulfill the role of whales though. I don't see them being added and people not wanting to hunt them. Maybe they could be added exclusively to the red sea so it's more just for the ambience and make them unkillable like you suggested.

    I'd also like to see more sharks. Maybe on occasion we could find a bunch of them like how there are shipwrecks. Instead, there is a gathering of sharks feeding on a carcass or something.

    @buckydk solid point. Schools of these animals could be good. Like a group of monkeys rather than just one here and one there. I’d like some ridable animals like boars or lizards or something. Anything to ride faster on land. Imagine riding sharks haha I’d do that all day

    Apart from the 1 you lure out the monkeys came in stone, wood, gold, crashed ship and ghost ship flavors. Definitely greedy to ask for more imo.
