Legends Week: PvP Daily Challenge - Can we remove "Servant" as a requirement for Defeated Ships?

I would agree; as being a Pirate Legend does not, at least nowadays, necessarily mean allegiance to Ramsay and the rest of the do-gooders
Also; where are you seeing this? cant find it on events tab

@drbensei I think the requirement is perfectly fine because more people run Reaper anyway, so this makes sense. My problem is that it’s in the final 2 days of the week, would have liked it to be closer to the start.

@tesiccl I see more same fraction battles when I'm running Guardians tbh, but I haven't played a lot in the last 2-3 months. Also I'm "only" 50 on each fraction.

My only concern is that - especially because it's the last two days - many might be unable to complete the challenge despite sinking more than enough ships. Because there's more reasons to run Guardians than Servant on the last two days, which will lead to an influx of same-fraction battles, especially among casual players which will be matched with other casual players.

I also don't see a reason why it should make a difference which ship you sink as long as you pledged allegiance to the Guardians/Atehna before sailing.

Dont worry youll see a lot of experienced HG players go servant for that time to farm all the people going guardians for the event.

This, absolutely. I need to sink guardians as reaper still, I’ll probably dive a few times to see how I fair. If I get a lot of opposite faction matches I’ll keep at it a while. So if you get put on east coast, solo sloop, mixed servers then I’ll be there.

I'm curious if it's more specifically as a guardian too.

@hiradc It doesn't specify that. You're still better off going for Guardians, as matchmaking tries to match you with the opposing faction first

I ran HG earlier AS servants, sank other servants and got no progress on quest, you also need to diving as guardians.

Might be obvious to some but I was disappointed.

I was the sacrifical servant yesterday, though we went 7-1, with 2 of our sinks vs other servants.

If the challenge was totally equal; we would have completed it twice over.

If the challenge was even partly fair; we would only need 1 servant sink today to complete it.

But my crew is 0/3 for the challenge, and will have to load up a GoF boat and hope we match with, and sink, 3 servant crews today, while earning Allegiance for a faction we arent focusing on/working for/have any interest in.

This doesn’t need to be removed.

I understand that this goal will be difficult or impossible due to the lack of Reaper Bones ships but in order to get the eyepatch (which mostly everyone should have gotten last time) you need to hand in 10 pieces of Athena loot. The community goal has already been reached so anyone else just has to give 10 pieces and they earn the cosmetics.

Completing any of the challenges can be fun but are completely unnecessary.
