Respawn Lag/Desync is Getting Bad

  • Over the last 6-12 months the lag from players respawning on a boat has increased dramatically. What was once a subtle jitter of the boat - respawning now often causes boats to rock like they were bit by a meg. Players on or near the boat will also completely desync for 3-5 seconds while the player returning from the ferry is loading. This results in teleporting players, rubberbanding, and hit registration issues. While I'm not saying this was never an issue in the past, the occurrence of this lag is more and more consistent. I haven't seen much discussion around this issue and was wondering if it's on the team's radar to be addressed.
