Those stats come from a credited Site, ESP is literally forum based cheat where its creator is open to the public discussion. Think of it as this Site forum, but for cheats, and having regular open conversation with its customer/Cheat coders.
Those numbers aren't fake/inflated. Especially when you visit those Discord communities you realize just how many players cheat in this game and never get banned for years (closet cheating) it's pretty disgusting.
Im not talking about cheating websites that try and mimick Apple like sites with a clean interface and clearly inflated stats: ''30,000 players have downloaded our program! Try our free trial today!"
ESP Is free, created by some dude as a passion project, it's files are verified by people before it is approved for downloads, the stats don't lie there. It's the biggest cheat used in this game because it's free/offers a lot from the get go.
he naval battles are a stalemate if the other crew has any clue about repairs and the PvP is so simplistic that it is boring. >
So true, the top level ''MMR'' HG fights are literally the same strats no matter what when it comes to Galleon at least. (I actually got a video coming out tomorrow of me reviewing someones gameplay about this)
Literally it's just:
Shoot lowers, Force Flex and bilge down stairs, force a triple demast and a confirmed oneball/kill, go board and sink them. General gist which is repetitive asf.
SoT is really a simplified game that you can become the ''best'' in a given role in 6 months of actually trying to PvP with a good crew. The skill gap is low compared to other video games that actually have better more in depth mechanics compared to SoT that relies on bug usage to get the upper hand. This game is made for 14 year olds to Master let's be honest.
How Do I come back to the game after a 2 month Hiatus and beat 3 ''competitive'' crews in a row that have been no lifing Hourglass everyday for 8 months straight?
If they wanted to make it interesting, introduce new mechanics to the game that makes it interesting, not just content but MECHANICS. But hey I think asking to increase the skill gap is doing the exact opposite of what they want to achieve, which is trying to simplify everything as possible to make it accessible to everyone. L imho.
I don't get why they even added HG after the Arena fail. If PvP could not make it instanced>
I have to disagree with a few points, Less people are playing Hourglass ( That I know off in the competitive community at least) because of cheaters. We are sick of it. A lot of us played daily for months but there comes a time where one by one people just leave since they just have better things to do then get a streak ruined by keg droppers, and someone leaving a crew impacts the rest of players morale to the point they quit the game to! :)
Most of us would of much preferred a re-worked Arena.
We get it that the hardcore PvP Fnatics are always going to be the 5% Minority of this game, being neglected, nothing new there.
