I just spent an hour and a half getting the two gems for this quest, dealing with storms and reapers and other players on my own, sailing to put them into the statue only for the prompts to put the gems into the statue to fail to appear no matter what I did. After reloading the checkpoint to try and get the gems back I discovered I had to sail to two new islands and get the gems again, then when I got to the islands there was no gems to dig up so I had to start the entire tall tale over again.
That's another hour and a half of gameplay I'll now need to put in to do something that should take 5 seconds, please fix this bug because it's a major pain to do all of that again for no reason and it honestly makes me not want to play this game anymore.
