Is this true? Did season 10 really get pushed back a 1/4 year? If it is, season 10 is going to have to be revolutionary or the last bits of sand are going to hit the bottom of the glass folks. People are already disgruntled and upset about current issues.... I hope they aren't self sabotaging Sea of Thieves to make way for that 1 new game in development, because the optics on this are not good at all if you step back and look at everything going on internally at RARE and externally within the game. No matter what excuses or explanation that are fresh off the shelf, this right here will be a major turning point for Sea of Thieves. One way or the other. You can only kick the can down the road for so long while fleecing (what it feels like now unfortunately) players pockets for dev money and new game dev money and expect folks to just smile, nod, believe everything said and keep the check blank for you.

I understand how You feel. Unfortunatelly game development takes time, a lot of time. RARE devs have undertook a huge task of making a huge season with lots of new stuff and create a few iconic tall tales for Monkey Island. They seem very passionate about their progress so I would say it just takes longer for them to do all of it and satisfy all players after all a lot of content is about to arrive.
The emporium items certainly can get spendy but it's not like they are always putting pressure on with them
they have a trailer that people can watch or not watch
a few social media posts that people can read or not read
and their partners once in a while say something nice about somethingabout as low pressure as it can get for paid items
I've seen them flat out encourage players to take a break if needed.
This isn't a job (for most of us), we aren't required to be here, we choose to be here. It's a game and there are hundreds+ of other awesome games to play, countless hobbies to get into outside of SoT. There is nothing inherently negative about taking a break from SoT, getting more into variety gaming, burning out.
If the devs need time that's just how the cookie crumbles
I'm gonna play the heck out of this game as long as there are other adventurers on these servers and if yall quit that just leaves more shrouded ghosts for me, don't buff me like that, keep me humble.
Idk why they dont switch whatever they were gonna release in Season 10 and bring out 11,12,13 or the easy season that doesnt add much or change alot.
season 9 is done, everyone by now has reached 100 renown. So what is next to do? Wait until next month for Monkey island Tall tale?
Next mystery? Next adventure?3 months with 2-3 new tall tales that are finished within max of 2 hours, what else.

healthy risk reward is far more stimulated by quality of experience than fresh content. Fresh content does get more logins but sustainable risk reward is strengthened in times like this.
Social space low morale isn't overall game low morale. The main result of social space lower morale is less high skill pvp on servers and the effect of that is just more pve activity, more attachment as players aren't as wrecked during sessions.
Xbox/controller servers regularly stay solid in activity, why? because they never had that excessively high pressure high level pvp being put on the players.
Essentially what happens in times like right now is that shared servers become more pleasant/less unpleasant, similar to xbox/ controller servers
The devs are gonna take social media heat to some degree but this won't harm the game, it'll keep production consistent, investment consistent, it'll support rebuilding the middle activity
As much as some don't wanna hear this, the environment as it is designed will only get stronger during this time that frustrates some. Many will have a better time when they stick around and invest.
I hear that the season is going to be huge....? Not difficult to do better than this season 9 in view of the number of bugs, cheaters and other glitch. Since no one knows what this season 10 will be, stop selling dreams. The reality is that there is nothing left to do but fish and allegiance for the old players. When I launch the game, I disconnect after my 2, 3 trolls that spawn in the open crew or after feeling like I'm stuck in a spatiotemporal rift on the repetition of games. Strongly starfield
