I think it would be awesome if a hunters call emissary and fishing missions were added to SOT. It would make fishing and leveing up hunters call more entertaining aswell as making it less and tedius to level up. It would greatly benefit the fishing community in SOT!🐟

So I have some suggestions for Hunter's Call.
Cooking
You should be able to add a pot to your ship. In that pot, you can put the meat and cook a stew. Of course, vegetables would have to be added in-game for this.Hunter's Call Reps
There should be, scattered around off of various islands, Hunter's Call Representatives (on fishing boats) who you can sail up to and sell your stuff.A New Ship
A Whaler should be added to the game. A possible variant of the sloop (Seiner) or brigantine (Schooner) and galleon (Whaler). Either as an option for Captaincy ships but not Standard ships; or as something you can unlock with Hunter's Call reputation. It would be equipped with harpoons, with a canon on each side for defense. Maybe with dedicated fishing places that you can fish off of. Also, a bigger stove to cook multiple catches with.Cetaceans
Add several species of Cetaceans to the game. Orca, several varieties of Porpous/Dolphin, as well as several varieties of Whale. This would allow Hunter's Call to expand and possibly offer an Emissary flag (or create a new Whaling Trading Company, complete with lore, that moves into the Sea of Thieves. This is just a few of my humble suggestions for Hunter's Call Content.
@foambreaker I won't give you my thoughts on Greenpeace. But we're talking 17th century. Greenpeace wasn't even a gleam in the eye of its founder's progenitor at the time.

Irrelevant.
The COMPANY, in 2023, doesn't want the kind of bad press that whale hunting brings.
@foambreaker I got one book for you... Moby D***
make a Moby D*** monster for Sea of Thieves, give it 5 different variants. Call it a Thumpback Whale or something. I know we have the Megalodon, but it just bites you and eats you. Moby D*** would batter you to death.
Add in a few porpoises and orcas, who may or may not assist you when fighting a shark or a Siren. It's not about killing Humpback and Menke whales, it's about sea monsters.
Either way, it's called "Hunter's Call". Give us much more to hunt. Even the birds in the sky should be huntable.
The main issue with the Hunter's Call is that it doesn't have loot, and fishing is a passive activity where you generally aren't moving around a lot. It's not quite like the other trading companies, so it would need to be completely changed in order to fit into the emissary system.
I think it's fine as is, and the fishing component already takes forever to complete. It's just a relaxing activity to waste some time on.
@shadowmane20 The Shrouded Ghost is literally already Moby D***. It's the big white sea beast that all we hunters seek to find and destroy, and it always eludes us, as the eponymous Moby D*** eluded Ahab.
@pokemanizach I'm good with that. However, to speak to the other issue, you can sell them treasure chests and gems. They do need missions. I think I watched a video on YT yesterday where someone suggested missions and an emissary mode with maps to fishing zones and other things.
I think if it's going to be about hunting, then everything is game. Adding more animals to harvest is a win-win for Hunter's Call. Adding activities around those hunts are equally a win. More monsters to defeat with different ways to defeat them. More Hunter's Call representatives scattered throughout the Sea of Thieves on some of the islands. You sell them your catch (fish or mammal) and move on.
I do think the whaling idea is not too far out there. Yeah, there are people out there who won't like it, but we already kill pigs, chickens and snakes in this game (anybody know a group called People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals? [it won't let me use the acronym for some reason]). We also kill Megalodons and Krakens. More to hunt with more game modes would expand the game. Somehow I don't think Greenpeace gives a flip about whaling in a game.
