Hi All, I love The Sunken Kingdom voyages, except as a Solo player I quite often on returning to the surface I find my boat has been sunk. This is ok in the normal Shrine etc voyages, but not when ( I forgot the right title) getting the Coral Chest, Key's and medallions. To have the ability to use the Merfolk, as in the normal Shrine voyages, the voyages would become more popular I believe.
Thank You

That voyage is pretty useless, once finished, no reason to ever repeat it again...a change to this would be welcome
Why is it a problem when your ship sunk? Does the voyage fail if it does? Just did it once, so I don’t know...if not...just leave the treasure in the mermaid statue and come back with your ship...Sorry for not explaining better. This "Coral Chest Voyage" is not even available unless you've found all the Journals, 30 total. This voyage is more complicated than just finding a Coral Bottle and completing the challenge. You can buy this at the Legendary Hideout or from Larina ( I believe). The Merfold Statues found inside the Sunken Kingdom are not available during this voyage, which I believe is a mistake. Getting sunk while your diving is a big loss, game over.

No difference between voyages and just visiting the shrine. It’s a hit or miss when you leave your ship to dive below the sea.
I understand your concern, but you can still put a chest in the merfolk during that quest.
I don't know about keys because I haven't put the key in. As soon as you get the key, apply it to the chest and you won't need it anymore.
Confirmed in recent play.Of course, it can't be considered kind, but I don't think that sinking it once will fail the quest.
Since this is a quest that you only have to do once, a certain amount of risk is necessary.Being able to put your coral loot into the Siren Shrines within a Treasury or Shrine is how the original voyage is played true in deed. I would like to repeat in this "Legend of The Sunken Kingdom" your not collecting coral loot or even able to use the Siren Shrines. Upon getting the Way Finder, another task, it takes you to collect 3 Forbidden Key's to open a coral chest containing the Gold Order Madellion. This is used to open a door in The Shrine of Hungering. So if your sunk with the Coral Chest or Medallion on board before you get to The Shrine of Hungering you have to start over. Completing all the Challenges, and reading the Journals (30) in all the Shrines and Treasury's is the only way your qualified to buy this voyage. It's really fun just hard to complete solo. I'm not going into more detail but copying the voyage description verbatim is just too involved. RARE HELP ME OUT HERE PLEASE
I would like to add I've played this game over 4 years now. I love this voyage and find it fun just to explore and intern collect lot's of easy loot. It's the safest solo content because of the statues. Even with the more dangerous seas now, I either hide my ship and row out to the shrine, or I scuttle it. Either way nobody knows I'm there unless they're doing the shrine.
The voyage from the curse was hard though, even with a full galley we had to fight a lot of people.
I believe you can store keys and loot in Siren Statues, while doing this voyage. And you don't need to put medallions in the statue since you will need to place them in the stone to open a secret door which will lead you to the key for yer chest.
Ye need 3 key, each can be found here:- Shrine of Hungering (1st)
- Shrine of Ocean's Fortune (2nd)
- Shrine of Ancient Tear (3rd)
Also, to unlock this voyage ye need to read 30 journals, 5 each from each Shrine. There is no journals in Treasuries, but if you open 3 of 'em, ye will get a Scar of Sunken Sorrow.
Ye need to buy it from Larinna for dobloons.
I would recommend to do it solo if ye lucky, if not, then: - Duo Sloop
- Open Crew or Friends Brig
- Open Crew or Friends Galleon
I do this voyage sometimes, while sailing my ship. If I don't do Hourglass or Tall Tales.
