Text-to-Speech Bug?

    I'm double checking after numerous sails, but I am getting a huge amount of text-to-speech making me go nuts so I'm wondering if this is the game or me meddling with Xbox settings that I never touched to begin with.

    @wcpsycho I have seen several reports that TTS is currently a bit wonky... so its probably not you matey!

    It's definitely the game, me and all my friends who play also have this problem and it's unbearable to play with. I already reported the bug to support 2 days ago.Muting your crewmates works as a temporary workaround.

    The thing with text to speech is, it is (i believe) an xbox (app) side thing which uses the games audio input to push its audio to the game, this way the game is none the wiser what it is getting the audio from

    Yeah, when one of my crew TTS's, every crew member says the thing. it's a little crazy. Glad to hear it's not just my system. I think this happened with the last patch.

    Is this the thing where it buzzes and then cuts out or something else?

    been having the same problem, whenever i write something, tts from other players read to me what i said using their narrator, im sure i havent changed anything on my end so its probably an xbox issue

    The TTS bug is a real problem, my interface was down for a good 10 minutes some weeks back and, I too, didn't customize any setting to begin with.
    But, it has been solved I guess 'cause lately I haven't encountered any issue.
    Now, I'm planning to incorporate AI Voiceover models from my favorite Anime voice actors and replace the default files but I'm concerned as to if it will create further complications.
