A Parrots Journey

  • Join me Captain P as I hang up the feather hat and venture across the seas on a journey of pirate self discovery with and without my crew. This journey will travel the whole of sea of thieves and every island, fortress, and shrine. Every grid square will be covered as we work on getting ourselves ready for the next phase of our pirate journey. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we will documenting it! Everything will be placed on this thread so I do not spam the tavern tales section any more. Happy sailing mates and maybe we will see you on the sea!

  • Day 1: Began at Port Merrick with crew. Decided to strip myself of the usual Parrot items and went to my native look (picture coming). Also switched around how the parrot looks. Decided to raise the sails of a previous legend... Long live glitter beard! Its raining yet the sun is shining... fairly interesting. Set sail for Sailors Bounty... uneventful voyage...
Arrived at Sailors bounty.. Found 3 storage crates, An interesting rock formation to the north side of the middle island makes me wonder if either a giant or a very strong pirate was able to lift the rock that high to do that... fascinating. Also saw plenty of other landmarks and sites. A pleasant little island. The main note is the location of the trickmasters lair... kept our distance from all the traps and tricks beneath.
The sun is setting faster than thought and we go into the night loading the ship. That's a wrap for us today.

Day 2: Left sailors bounty to a crystal clear sky and the skeleton sloop that had been stalking us has let us be and left. We all decided to venture Just east- southeast to Sandy Shallows. Short sail and was met with a skeleton captain who growled that his name was Captain Chest Daniels.. of note.. weird name. Vanquished him and took his two chests.. a small victory to a quiet journey thus far. The barrels here had more food than an army would need.. Of note there was some special cannonballs so that was nice. naturally we took it anyway and proceeded to our next stop the nearby fort, Keel Haul Fort. Around evening when we arrived.. cooked up some chicken and pork to snack on while exploring. We piled up the kegs and blew them up... a profit to be made but a risk we were not willing to take. Fort was not active and saw no beacon to light with flame of fate. We stayed overnight and rested up for the next day. Ended the day fishing, caught nothing spectacular.

Day 3: Left the uneventful fort to go to our friends at the nearby seaport., the spoils of plenty store. A very excited fella, very strangely he looks like he wears too much makeup. then again I am sure we looked weird too. Bought all of his wares and sold some meat to Hunters call. Short visit but was necessary on the journey. Shot south to Crescent Isle. Had plenty to do and plenty to see. Vanquished another captain whose name is clearly not important as I seemed to have forgotten it. Found another one of Glitterbeard's tales (always a great read) and another legend of the sea of a wonderful artist on the south shore. Slept in the hammock and spent the evening napping while crew was exploring (what a gift)

Day 4: Spent the whole day at Crescent Isle. There is so much to explore here. and we fished the remainder of the day along with talking about past tales.. it ended with an amazing sunset which I was lucky to be in the crows nest to see. Sometimes you forget what you really miss out on when grinding.

Day 5: Made our to the North- East to Rapier Cay. Pretty small island with nothing spectacular. Fought another skeleton captain and took 3 more chests. We spent the rest of the day going to my 3rd favorite outpost... Sanctuary. Before we arrived we got in a night battle with a skeleton galleon. I boarded them and kept the crew busy while my mates shot the heck out of that gally. We got a good haul of loot and went to Sanctuary outpost to settle for the evening.

Day 6: Spent the day selling, drinking, and being merry with the local populace. Also fished for a bit and sailed back to Fort Merrick to get ship repairs done (Sharon is the only shipwright I trust to touch the Parrot, though she can be quite chatty at times.) We ran into a meg which another crew was fighting along with a galleon. Pretty intense fight that was amazing to watch. We left all our full storage crated at the fort and informed them that could keep it all as thanks for not sinking us.

    Captains Summary:
    Chests sold: 7
    Skulls sold: 4
    Storage Crates stored: 8
    Mermaid Gems: 4
    Player's met: 1

Once I figure our pictures they will be inbound... taking a two day break and will continue Sunday night.

  • Day 7: I awoke with the sound of my crew on the gally. Seems this parrot will never catch a break of the adventure with his crew! Set sail from Sanctuary Outpost today after setting the previous evening with Grog and fun times. First stop was to a small island to the southwest though the name escapes this parrot head of mine. Remarkable sunset once we arrived and went on some treasure hunts. Nothing too remarkable except for the random people of interest on the island.. Not one to back down from a nice moment, I brought my portrait frame.. sometimes you never know when a moment strikes up (arr..its funny). This closes a relatively uneventful night. Attacked a skeleton captain and took his loot and fought some phantoms.

Day 8: Napped and went on our way with one less crewmate. We decided to train and get better with battling other pirates. This translated to taking down not 1, not 2, but 3 reapers. Sailing under the flag of Athena.. this was naturally wonderful. We lost our fair share also... But it was good to get back at those nasty bones on the sea. The last flag was just cashed in and I think I need some time away for some R&R.
