Xbox Showcase and Predictions/Wishlist

    The Xbox Showcase is this Sunday! I thought it would be cool to create a thread speculating on what may or may not be shown.

    Predictions:

    • Xbox has already said we're getting a full breakdown on Starfeild.

    • I would feel comfortable in saying that we're getting content updates for Grounded, Red Fall, and, of course, Sea of Thieves.

    • I think we're getting a DLC reveal for High Fi Rush.

    • I think we're likely getting a trailer for the next Forza game.

    • I would guess we're getting another trailer for Fable.

    • A teaser trailer for Hideo Kojima's project with Xbox. I'm not sure what the game could be; a spiritual successor to P.T. maybe? Or it could be a new IP altogether.

    • I think we're getting a trailer for the next Elder Scrolls as well.

    • A teaser trailer for the next Halo game.

    • A DLC announcement for Psychonaunts 2.

    • I'm not going to go into specifics, but I would guess a lot of third-party games will make it onto Xbox within the next year or so in a montage of some kind.

    • A reimagined trailer for Everwild.

    • A trailer for a new Lucky Tales game.

    • A teaser trailer for either the next Fallout or Doom game. I don't think it would be both; it would be one or the other.

    Wishlist:

    • A new Blinx game. Because why not? :)

    • Admittedly, I'm not sure who owns the rights to the game anymore, but I would love to see a sequel to Split Second; it's one of the best racing games you can play. (I would highly recommend playing it if you guys are fans of the racing genre. You can still get it on the Xbox store.) It had the misfortune of releasing on the same day as Red Dead Redemption, and as a result, the game got poor sales.

    • Banjo-Threeie. Please, Rare, please! I don't care if it has to come out in 2026...just have Banjo's sprite come on screen with the side scroll and the cacophony of weird bear noises as the dialogue reads: "We're back!" :)

    That's about it, for me. I'm not what else could be shown off, realistically or not. What do you guys think will be shown on Sunday? Or what would you want to be shown?

    Banjo Threeie: Im telling you I would fall out my chair if I saw this! Yuka Laylee did not do any justice in being its replacement. Rare.. listen to this man, as it would be the biggest reveal of the decade haha. They could also just do the banjo beginning like the other 2 games.

    Split Second: Hands down one of my favorite racing games.. love the sow effects and all the buildings crashing down.. it gave me some serious adrenaline

    I am unsure if there will be a fallout game reveal (then again I would necessarily be shocked either.. its what Bethesda does best). I remember an interview with the producer over at that studio and he was explaining that there is a fallout game coming but no time soon as the studio focuses on Starfield and Elder Scrolls thereafter.

    Well, there's no E3, so I'm going to lump a lot of things together with Xbox in the hopes that they happen.

    Wishlist:
    A new Mass Effect teaser.
    Dragon Age: Dreadwolf gameplay and cinematic trailer
    Fable early gameplay and trailer
    Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life II - And Really Bad Eggs announcement.
    Evolve II announcement
    Half-Life 3 announcement

    What I would like to hear about most is Indiana Jones from machine games, (will also be happy with Wolfenstein 3)

    I still recall happy play sessions with the old indy game on the original Xbox console.

    Other games i hope make the show:

    Contraband (Know very little)
    State of decay 3
    Perfect Dark

    And an announcement I would love to hear about, would be someone working on a new Tomb raider game..I am long overdue a Laura Croft fix.

    Redfall apology DLC? Lol. I didn't think it was that bad.

    Lego SoT add ins.

    Diablo SoT crossover cosmetics. (Diablo gets SoT cosmetics....not the other way around lol)

    I can equip all my pets trailer!

    That will probably just be a teaser for season 4 of the existing Halo Infinite. That season starts soon and a teaser is not released yet.

    I've just made it to the 2nd map and have no issues with Redfall at all.

    Sometimes it's worth waiting a little while when a new game is launched and has a few patches. For a gamepass filler. I'm really enjoying myself on it.
