The title basically says it all. It would be way more fair for solo players if they had more time to do them. Now, i'm basing my claims on the wiki, that says you have approximately 3 minutes to clear the vault no matter the crew size. If that's true, a duo sloop can basically get double the loot that a solo player can get, which is unfair. I don't know if large crews should get a change as well though.
Adjust GH Vaults according to crew size
Personally, as the vaults are, I'd prioritize on the best things inside the vault, as the rest of the items don't pose *that" much value, yes, even at Grade V.
If you go for:
- Captain's Chest
- Chest of Ancient Tributes
You'll be getting the strongest general value out of the vault, as everything else is extra, in terms of reputation grinding, this helps a lot, but if you're grinding for gold, it's obviously inefficient and unhelpful. Additionally, it's best to get a crew for these vaults, as those 3 minutes time limits are pretty fierce if you're not too great at parkouring for everything you'll need.
@typicalink500 practice solving the puzzle with 1 medallion and it is doable solo.
Once you're confident I think most consistent way is to parkour all the way to top, dropping one medallion and all the loot while working your way downI would just be happy with the loot being more consistent with your key type. At max gh shouldn't get so many low value castaway chests etc
I agree that for solo players the vault timer is a little short.
An extra 30 seconds would be ideal.
For larger crews the vault timer is sufficient.
If you’re doing vaults you should be doing them in the roar as ashen treasure is worth more and there is less long distance sailing to do out in the roar. Also easier to stack vaults in the roar.
Magma’s grails are worth up to 2x a standards captains chest which I’ve seen sell for as low as 600 gold. A captains chest for 600 gold. I can’t get over how little “treasure” is worth in this game.
