I have a question: i know captain voyages are usually shorter, but are captain's vault stashes, ghost ship battles and lost shipments shorter than their regular counterparts? Also, you unlock Gold Vault Keys at GH level 45. However, are level 75 vaults better than level 45 ones if they have the same keys? And is this true for lost shipments and ghost ships as well?

No, they use the same exact voyages, but repackaged for captain purchase.

GH vaults top out at max value when unlocked at 45, there is technically no level 75 voyage.

It is true for lost shipments. But it gets complicated for ghost ships. At level 75 you unlock the chance to get a voyage that gives you The Burning Blade as the final boss. This was introduced in February of last year when they removed the Flameheart World Event but needed a way to let people still work on their OOS commendations that required The Burning Blade and wraith balls.
@abjectarity thanks a lot, this really clarified some things. So, in general, it's better to buy the regular versions of these voyages instead of the captain ones since they're cheaper?
@typicalink500 now that you can hold 12 voyages, if you are concerned about gold then I’d say yes. The biggest draw for captaincy quests was how many you could keep with you at any given time, now that has diminished slightly with the quest capacity for your pirate.
@abjectarity From what I understand, since the reintroduction of the Ghost Fleet World Event earlier this year and the guaranteed fight against the Burning Blade there, they have removed the chance to encounter it during OoS ghost ship voyages again.
@thegrimpreacher I had not heard that or seen it in the patch notes, but I can test it real quick.
ETA: It appears you might be correct. It makes sense they would, but at the same time they usually include such things in patch notes. I’ve reached out to a representative for confirmation.
@abjectarity I swear I read that somewhere at some point in time, either back when S9 was testing on Insiders or in one of the random threads since then, but I've been looking through the archives here and I can't find it now.
I'll wait until we get confirmation either way from on high... lol
If you are still trying to get the Achievements for completing voyages still, the regular ones are the ones that count for Achievements.
