  • I noticed the star chart has only one constellation not present which is The Warrior, could that possibly be a lead?

  • Just started watching the captain falcore video on who is H, I've heard him talk about the dark brethren. They are all two-faced outcasts with a grudge. So what is their goal?

  • Hogarth could be a member of the dark brethren and H?

  • @ozzv76 Not quite, in the last part people are more competitive to solve it themselves.
In the previous parts there was no point to hide your progression as its timed and its better to work together but here you dont want to reveal your cards.

  • I thought H was Hornet, but I thought nah it’s just too obvious 😙

  • Who's Hornet?

  • @hiiii-bob one of the most legendary pirates in the sea of thieves, a mystery among a mystery👤

  • the reaper who is in the hideout where the weapons and the reaper parrots are, his name is Humerus... could it be him?

  • @marcus-pery Theres also three caged skeletons where the skeletal tavern is that represent the three trading companies, and one of them is a Gold Hoarder faction. I believe Humerus is possibly a former Gold Hoarder (though he is not in league with the Dark Brethren).

  • So what we know about H from Captain Falcore's video is that he is part of the Dark Brethren, a former Gold Hoarder turned OUTCAST like Wanda, Duke and Amaranta and could possibly be Hogarth the Hoarder who has yet to be introduced in the game.

  • @impymidna2303 The Warrior, being the Sea King, who got funky fresh with the Siren Queen, which caused a ruckus with the ancients who trapped him in the shrine of tribute, then cursed him into a chest of sorrows, which needles to say ticked off a certain Siren Queen, who then went full on Harley Quinn on the Ancients, making them sea creatures, and locking herself away in the shrine of Ancient Tears oh and having a naughty pop at a certain DeMarco along the way for giggles ?? that one ? ;)

  • guys i think we need to find what washedrobots crossword means and use that along with the other words we got from frostlocker rocketdiet and skullcannonball for four square.

  • When I looked at the chest on the first tweet, I found that when I zoomed in, I could see an incision on the coin on top of the chest that was in the same spot as the dot for the coin that marks the constellation puzzle. This coin is the same one on the skull in the main picture for the mystery. Additionally, the chest had a key on it similar to the one in the cardinal directions puzzle. Furthermore, the three pigpen symbols on the chest image correspond to the symbols on the bottom right side of the map and the top right symbol on the map. Additionally, the star shaped symbol at the top left of the image is the same as the one at ancient spire outpost (I think).

  • what variant do we use for the pigpen cipher?

  • What's the link to the chest? I don't have a twitter account, so finding things is an absolute nightmare.

  • Please, I need to sleep, it's quarter to ten at night. Can I just get the limk?

  • @hiiii-bob
Sorry about that, here you go: https://twitter.com/SeaOfThieves/status/1664301980846571520?cxt=HHwWgIC29a315JguAAAA

  • No harm done
    :)

  • Do you mean the triangle?

  • I think I found a match between the map and the constellation puzzle. I drew some lines between the images on the chest the same way they were drawn on the constellation puzzle. I then proceeded to draw similar lines (they were different sizes than the ones I drew on the chest, but they fit together the same way) on the map. These lines led from Ancient Spire Outpost to Morrows Peak Outpost. I will add the images to this post as soon as I can figure out how to get the url for them.

  • Okay, good to know.

  • The solutions to the puzzles posted by the twitter accounts from puzzle 3 have contained constellations so far, so it would make sense that the same would be true of the crossword puzzle. I don't have the answer to the crossword puzzle, but I thought that this might be helpful to those trying to find the solution to the crossword puzzle.

  • @gaudierpuppy866
Should we superimpose the constellation puzzle overtop the crossword?

I don't think I see the connection between the constellations and the directional riddle with the coins around the edges...

  • @lucky11 We could superimpose the constellation puzzle atop the crossword, but I don't think we would find anything. The twitter account puzzles have not had anything to do with each other excepting the solutions. As for the directional riddle, I could be wrong about it. I managed to find a connection between the map, the chest image, and the constellation puzzle (its in the second to last post I posted), none of which required the directional riddle. Still, it seems strange that the key on the chest is almost the same as they key on that riddle. Perhaps the solution to the directional riddle is significant?

  • @gaudierpuppy866
I assumed the answer to the directional riddle would lead us directly to the code. That's the formula Rare has been using; three sets of puzzles before we reach the code's location.

  • I went ahead and superimposed the two puzzles. I can't see anything of note, but I'll share the image, let others take a look.

  • I find it strange Rare hasn't provided a hint yet. The only thing they have given us is essentially a suggestion to go over everything we have discovered. I get the feeling the answer is right in right of us, and we're right on the doorstep to figuring this out, we just haven't figured out the last couple of clues we have to get what we need.

  • Do we know if the twitter bio's for the 4 accounts that gave us the puzzles have anything to do with this? They seem to tell a story of some sort, or maybe give a hint

@lucky11 H went out his way to swap East for West too !! maybe everyone should start looking twice in the mirror ??

"Expose a shuffled endless stack and send it out to sea, but heed my words and you may find a most important key." -Skullcannonball

"A page, a coin, but never a die, can't trust this key not to tell you a lie." -Rockeddiet

"Rugged, twisted, bitter and mean, through red haze and scowl will this key be seen." -Frost_Locker

"Delivers you letters essential to read, this final control is the last that you'll need." -WashedRobot

Someone from Rare Theif pointed out that the answers to three of the four riddles are the codes from the three previous weeks. (the only one they couldn't figure out was the Twitter bio for WashedRobot)

  • @gentleclaw7, @GaudierPuppy866

Using the superimposed picture (thanks for that, by the way! That was very helpful!) I traced the symbol Rare Theif created to originally get 'Snakes' answer for the Arrow riddles.

    I got these letters: N, K, T, P, I, A, E, G, and N.

Maybe these letters are part of a word scramble? Or maybe they are needed for a Vigenere Cipher or something like that?

  • @lucky11 Not entirely sure, but that's why I think they went with the last of the 4 being just straight alphabet (-j) on the 4 square. As "delivers you letters essential to read"...

Sorry that was supposed to be a quote ... > "Delivers you letters essential to read, this final control is the last that you'll need." -WashedRobot

  • Though I'd have to say, as with many others, I am totally unsure about the crossword / word search, being AFORECLOUD, as many variations of the words, and the pig pen, also come up with various things like ARKCLOUD, ARKACLOUD, even letters that are missing from solid words, if you filled it all out including the crossword ones.. gives you something that can be unscrambled to say TRADER PUT N ... So unless someone has something really useful up their sleeve with the coins etc. I fear I am just digging holes in the sand, looking for that chest which is badly described in the riddle !!
