  • Are you talking about game settings or like are you maybe talking about saved cosmetics to your captaincy boat? Because the first would almost assuredly be an install issue of some type or write issue with the hard drive or folder permissions. The second is a known issue and is being worked on.

  • @personalc0ffee its game settings and idk why it would be an install issue considering ive had the game on a disk with 200 gb of extra space for like 4 years now

A patch or update could have corrupted it in some way, it happened to a friend of mine. They had to do a complete reinstall.

Check the folder permissions settings for SoT install and make sure it isn't for some reason unable to write data to the setting folder.

Lastly, I would see if there are any issues with the hard drive you have SoT installed on.

Personally, I would just do a full uninstall, restart, and then re-install.

Also, I would like to state I am not official SoT support. That's not actually provided here on the forum and is only available if you submit a support ticket. I'm just a user that might be able to help your issue.

  • @phrrog if you’re still having this issue, click the options at the bottom across all settings that’s “set to default” and restart the game. Then save your preferences and log in, they should be saved across sessions then.

I had this issue recently and that was support’s fix and it worked!

  • @personalc0ffee I have the same problem. I did uninstall and reinstall and no change

  • @malix1812 me too
