Brig Rules

  • Enough is absolutely enough, I have personally ran into too many people who join crews , burn their ship just to get locked in the brig, and sit on YouTube making money. While we have to play with a man down and have a higher difficulty. NO MORE MONEY IN BRIG.

This will actually be an incentive to not get sent to the brig and it help curb these individuals who do this. Our current only method to combat them is muting them and locking them up . We have no way to kick them. I personally feel that especially with the captaincy mechanics that a captain should have the right to kick someone .

In which you could even run with that and make an animation for walking the plank. Maybe a Tall Tale that you have to sacrifice one of your teammates to a monster to summon it.
Give power back to the Pirates and let us punish these treacherous dogs!

Would create even more toxic experiences, such as getting brigged or walked the plank after getting e.g. a fort or other fruitful activity so your crew mates can get a friend in.

I wouldn't open a crew when you're busy doing a world event or when you have loot on board; if a person who joins your crew when your ship doesn't have loot turns out to be a troll: start a new session.

  • Our current only method to combat them is

    Dont open Crew.

Also, think of the other shoe. Someone joins a crew, it all good until they Brig you and begin turning loot in. With your request, they wont see a cent of that actual earned rewards. It too much of a punishment.

  • You might think this is a good idea until 2 or 3 trolls are running an open crew ship, you put down some special limited voyage, and then they brig you so you dont get any rewards from your own voyage.

Right now your only bet to not run into people like that would be to not run open crew. It might sound dumb to say "dont use this entire mechanic from the game" but with how prone to trolls it is, you genuinely are better off solo, or looking into some discords to find your crew.

  • Echoes the mutiny warnings...

  • I’ve been sent to the brig by troll crews for joining them when apparently I wasn’t supposed to and they’re too rude to even ask me to leave. So I stay, annoy them that I’m making money or their friend can’t join. Babies like that will learn their lesson the hard way when you brig me for no reason. Even said if they had asked I would have left but because they didn’t, I was punishing them for it. They weren’t happy with that xD
