Can't access purchased ships or buy a new one.

  • Yesterday I encountered an issue where I can't access any of my Captained ships. alt text

    I have tried about everything I can thing of at this point to get it to work: restart the game, restart the PC (I play on Steam), reconnect my Xbox account, connect someone else's account and the reconnect my account, verify the files, and reinstalled the whole game. I also looked for whoever had a similar issue, and everything that came up was when captaincy released and most of those fix attempts no longer work.

    I can use the base boats available and get into a server no problem, but I want to sail with my boats.

  • Do you receive a error code when you try to access your captained ships?

    Also you may try and contact Sea of Thieves support if this issue persists. I would usually give this 24 to 48 hours before contacting support as it could fix itself overtime.

  • @ug-omnipotent No error code, it just says "Couldn't Load Ships" link text (Link to screenshot) It happened yesterday, I tried everything I could and waiting all day trying occasionally to get to my ships. Same thing today. Tried most of the things again minus reinstalling a second time. I keep trying periodically and still can't access them.

    Also I have tried looking for where I can submit a ticket and can't seem to find it. The report a player is obvious, but the support site just gives most common issues. Mine seems a bit niche since I haven't seen anyone else with the problem.

    I found the ticket button, it's not in the most obvious place to find.

    Yeah it is abit hidden but I would recommend holding for atleast 24 hours before making a ticket as it could fix itself but if you feel you need to make a ticket then go ahead!

    Thanks. I'm hoping it's just a goof in the system, but considering it's persistent I'm beginning to doubt.

  • My ship isn't loading in and i just bought it.
    Do i need to buy a sloop and brig before i can access my galleon?
    I looked under my ships and it’s says to purchase a ship when in my guild the ship is there?
    I can access my guild on the guilds page but can’t access my galleon to sail on.
