would be nice to have tournament based pvp. 8 ship 1v1 10min per fight the one who do the most damage win and go to the next round so a full tourney should not take more than 30-40min. i know its not gonna happen but its something imo that could give more visibility and esport sided content to the game.

If I'm not mistaken the NAL (Notorious Arena League) had something like this organised by players.
Unfortunately SoT PvP is in no way shape or form fit for purpose as an e-sport credible game. At best it would only be viable to just let players organise tournaments amongst themselves using the long awaited private servers feature.
