Make the Reaper's Mark Sails (SoT logo) glow!

  • Earlier today, I bought the Reaper's Mark Sails because I thought the sails would be bright, in support of the Sea of Thieves team and game. When I put them on at night though, I was greatly underwhelmed by the lack of even a slight glow within the logo/sail. They just didn't show the "boldness" and significance to the Pirate Lord as told in its description. Especially during night, even the slightest glow would make the them sooo much better and show the boldness amongst fellow pirates! I really feel like it was a missed opportunity to make the sails stand out much more with at least a slight glow in the night sky. This little addition would be small, but greatly appreciated and shown all across the Sea of Thieves, thank you!

  • Big pass on that one imo.

They're shiny instead. Having that sheen across the logo in the light makes it look much better. I'm not a huge fan of being a glowstick ship, so having golden sails that have a bit of reflection instead of a SoT logo lantern on my sails is something I prefer.

  • No thanks. I avoid bright glowy stuff on purpose, so I'd like these to stay as they are.

No problems with them releasing another version with glow graphics though.

  • I also like the sails as they are.
It is not always cool when you have an "enemy spotted" light/lantern at/over you.
Sometimes it might be nice to "pose" a bit with some shiny and fancy stuff - but sometimes less is more.
But yeah - why not another shiny version in the future maybe.
