Question about sea serpent set

Hi !
I have not found any showcase for this set yet so I'm asking here :
You see, the serpent's head fins on the capstan are like, semi-translucid. It means that during a sunset for example, if you look behind the fins, at the opposite of the sun, they will be lit since the sun will kind of get threw.
The question is : Are the sails the same ? If the sun shine on one side of the main fin-lookin sail, will the other side be bright ?
